VOTING BY MAIL

You may only vote by mail in Texas if any of the following conditions apply:

  • You are age 65 or older; or

  • You have a disability; or

  • You expect to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or

  • You expect to be out of the country during both the early voting period and on Election Day; or

  • You are confined in jail (not finally convicted of a felony) or are involuntarily confined.

An application for a ballot by mail is available online at the Secretary of State Elections Website. Print and complete the form, then mail it to the early voting clerk in your county.
